Review Methodology

Part of The Guru Digital Ecosystem

The appropriate review depends on whether the work is an article, a recommendation, a downloadable resource or an interactive experience.

1. Define the task

Identify the intended audience, decision being supported, jurisdiction, date sensitivity and risk of harm if information is incomplete.

2. Check the evidence

Prefer direct documentation, official data and primary materials. Compare multiple reliable sources when a single source cannot support the full claim.

3. Inspect the reader path

Confirm that headings, links, calls to action, disclosures and expected next steps match what the page actually delivers.

4. Test the experience

For interactive resources, test required inputs, validation, keyboard access, responsive behavior, output controls, persistence and failure states in proportion to risk.

5. Record limitations

State material assumptions, date or location limits, educational-only boundaries and any areas that still require verification.
