Editorial Standards

Part of The Guru Digital Ecosystem

These standards guide public articles, recommendations and explanatory pages on The Guru Gazette.

Scope before claims

A page should make clear what it covers, who it is for, what it cannot establish and when the subject may vary by country, provider or individual circumstances.

Evidence and attribution

Factual claims should be supported by relevant sources. Primary and official sources receive priority when they are available and appropriate; links should help readers inspect the underlying material.

Plain language and uncertainty

Headlines and summaries should match the evidence. Estimates, interpretations and unresolved questions should be identified instead of presented as settled fact.

Commercial transparency

Editorial conclusions must not be changed to satisfy an advertiser or affiliate partner. A material commercial relationship must be disclosed near the relevant recommendation.

Maintenance

Time-sensitive pages should be reviewed when material facts change. A visible date is useful context, not a guarantee that every external rule or source remains unchanged.
